Scripture: How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 36:7, NIV.
Scripture: I long to dwell in our tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Psalm 61:4, NIV.
Elianna’s Faith Statement: I realized during the pandemic that I have been taking for granted the ability to see my friends. I have struggled with a feeling of isolation and trying to understand why God would let the pandemic happen. I didn’t even know what Zoom was until COVID happened!
As a result of this, I am seeking God to know Him more so I can help others. God has given me endurance and is teaching me to trust Him. I have learned that anything can happen in our life, and how we get through the tough times well depends on if we trust God to get us through them. My drawing has been created to look like a pair of wings coming from heaven to cast their shadow on the children of God to protect us.
Being home has been a good time to know my family more. In going back to school, I have been able to get to know friends again and look forward to the future.
