Title: “Into the Unknown”
Medium: Digital Art
Scripture: Jeremiah 29:13-14a CJB “‘When you seek me, you will find me, provided you seek for me wholeheartedly; and I will let you find me, says Adonai.”
Reflect and Pray: Whenever I think about the ancient monks who followed God no matter the cost, venturing out into the desert or across the sea, a longing stirs in my soul to do the same. I love the way they abandoned themselves fully to His call, and yet sometimes I feel afraid to let go and embark on the journey into the unknown. But I remember the words of Jeremiah that God desires “a future and a hope” for me. No matter where or how, whether sea or desert, I want to abandon myself to the future He has planned for me.
I want to hear the melodies of His heart that sing over me and release me into the fullness of who He made me to be.
O Father, help me to see You as You are, to come to You with all of my heart. Remind me that the way
I see myself is not the way that You see me, that I can trust You with my fears and my follies, that You listen with love and understanding, and that You call me onward to find more and more of You! Amen.
