Scripture: Psalm 34:18 (NIV) The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
James 4:8 (ESV) Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.

God does not condemn us when we return weary, broken, at the end of ourselves. Like the father of the prodigal son, He sees us from a distance and runs toward us with compassion. Grace interrupts our lives and restores us. In the stillness, beyond the noise of the world, God draws near, sometimes speaking clearly, sometimes simply holding us through grief and loss. God remains faithful, patient, and present through every valley. When we lean toward Him and quiet our hearts to listen, He guides us with promptings, people, and gentle direction. Seeking Him draws us close, and our lives are changed reflecting His mercy and love.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, quiet my heart and help me come near to hear your whisper. When I am weary, broken, or unable to stand on my own, draw near to me with Your compassion. Help me trust You through the journey of healing and remain attentive to Your guidance. As I behold You, change me into Your likeness and let my life reflect Your mercy and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
